As a school we have been following and using the White Rose Maths scheme. During the closure, this team has prepared a series of five maths lessons for each week. Every lesson comes with a short video showing you clearly and simply how to help your child to complete the set activity successfully.
Please find below the links to each year group for you to follow. Click on the White Rose Home Learning link, watch the video and complete the given tasks. If you are unable to print out the sheets, please do not worry, your child can simply write out the answers in a note book or other paper. Answers are given for you to check.
We recommend where possible, you work at the year group your child is in and work from the first week 1. Elm maths group may be ready to start at Summer Wk 1.
We understand however that you might need to be flexible. Find the right maths year group that your child feels confident working at. You’re not expected to become teachers and your children aren’t expected to learn as they do in school. Some children may find their year group too hard and others may be revising previously taught areas but that is ok too. If you do choose to follow a lower year group please do let us know so we can match up the activities with your my maths account.
Don’t forget we are here to help with anything else you might need so do email through your questions. We will do our best to respond as soon as we can.
Additional work will be provided for those children who whizz through the given activities or who might need some extra practice. You will find these in the stars below marked weekly. Each week matches to the week on the White Rose link.
We will also continue to use my maths where activities match up and Ttrockstars. Don’t forget the 'my maths' homework activities all come with a lesson attached too for the children to follow. This also has activities to do as they go along.
From Summer Week 3 you will need to click on the White Rose link to see their video for the day and then you will find the worksheets and answers HERE in the stars below. Additional work will then be below that if you require more.
